Artur Lesicki - Guitarist, composer, mainly focused on jazz but working in many musical genres. Co-leader of the Best Electric Jazz Group of 2003, Funky Groove - title awarded by the Jazz Forum magazine. The group's first record was placed in the PolyGram (now Universal) worldwide catalog. Artur Lesicki is also the leader of his own acoustic band - Artur Lesicki Acoustic Harmony. The premiere of the first record of the group – An Unbelievable Silence – released also under Universal – too place in the April of 2004. Due to his co-operation with Polish jazz and popular artists he has often taken part in important festivals: Jazz Jamboree, Summer Jazz Days and many festivals abroad. As a session musician he supports Polish music stars and does recordings for the film and theatre. For many years he has been a lecturer at music workshops and at the Wroclawian School of Jazz and Popular Music.

 
Added: 29 December 2005 – Multimedia guitar course DVD

The latest project of Artur Lesicki is his multimedia guitar course DVD - more than two hours of high-quality didactic material combined with backing tracks and sheet music. The DVD's premiere took place in the October of 2006 year. The course will be released and endorsed by the biggest Polish guitar magazine "Gitarzysta" ("Guitarist"). You can watch the trailer here

Artur Lesicki has been invited to lend his hand to the brand new guitar magazine "Gitarzysta" ["Guitarist"]. Here's what the editor-in-chief, Tomasz Wróblewski, had to say on the subject: "The magazine's January edition will hit the stores at the end of December.  It's a monthly magazine, the price is 12 zlotys, minimum 124 pages long, enclosed is a CD with tests, presentations, 4 contemporary hits, licensed transciptions of guitar hits with tablature and lyrics (30 pages of sheet music on average), workshops, interviews with the best guitarists in Poland as well as with those most appreciated worldwide. A top-level magazine. We've got everything to be proud of :-)".

We invite you to listen to two very special and unique recordings these come from a concert of Peter Herbolzheimer's orchestra, which took place during the latest Jazz over Odra festival.
